Starting with Google Calendar in PHP

I have to synchronize a website in which you create an event with the Company's Google Calendar so everyone can see it in their phone. My problem is that I'm new to web development and to PHP(I'm a C person) and I have to program it in PHP. I have been searching for a guide or anything but I can't find one(and the one in Google is for v1 with Zend Framework) Any other guide that I found doesn't explain everything from start, so I have a bunch of random codes that doesn't work with the first steps.

I'm looking for a template of that function(a complete template(with the imports)) to work based on that. Does anyone have/knows one?
